It's time to show up for our kids! Join us at the Miami-Dade County School Board's Regular Meeting and make your voice heard.
⏰ What to expect (subject to change)
- ~11:00 am — Ceremonial proclamations, followed by a break during which you will be asked to leave the building.
- ~1:00 pm — Regular meeting resumes. Agenda items are addressed in alphabetical order.
- ~1:30 pm — Aim to arrive by this time if you want to speak on an agenda item. Arriving early reduces the risk of being skipped.
- ~4:30 pm — Deadline to be present if you plan to speak during the public hearing. You will be given 3 minutes.
- ~6:30 pm — Public hearing begins no later than this time, regardless of whether the regular agenda has concluded.
🎤 How to sign up for public comment
- Fill out the Request for Appearance form.
- Email the completed form to [email protected] by 4:30 pm on Monday, June 15 (the Monday before the meeting).
- Arrive early! For agenda items, be present by 1:30 pm. For the public hearing, be present by 4:30 pm. You will be given 2 minutes for agenda items.
